Vanessa O. Mahan, D.D.S.
D.D.S.
Dr. Mahan is a 1989 graduate of Greenwood High School. Her undergraduate work was done at I.U. Bloomington and she graduated from the I.U. School of Dentistry in 1996. She and her husband, Geoff, have two boys and one girl and they reside in Greenwood.
Joseph L. Pete
D.D.S.
Dr. Pete is a 1964 graduate of Whiteland High School. His undergraduate work was done at I.U.P.U.I. He worked as an Industrial Engineer for eleven years prior to entering the I.U. School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1981. He and his wife, Dixie, reside in Greenwood.

I have been working for Dr. Pete & Dr. Mahan as an expanded dental assistant since 2001. My husband Doug and I reside in Greenwood. I enjoy going to Colts games, concerts, UK basketball, and spending time with my family.

I graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008. I joined Mahan & Pete Family Dentistry that same year. My husband John and I love spending time with family and friends, exploring new places and enjoying life with my three bonus children, Lilly, Sophie and Nolan.

I have been working for Dr. Pete and Dr. Mahan since March 2016. I obtained my Dental Assisting degree in 2009, then graduated Dental Hygiene School in 2011. I received my Bachelors of Public Health Sciences in 2014. My husband Luke and I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and participating in any community event involving fun! I am truly blessed to work with such wonderful doctors and staff!

I have been working for Dr. Mahan & Dr. Pete since 2011. I’ve been a dental hygienist since 2004 and married my high school sweetheart, Matt, the same year. We have 3 sons who are very involved in Boy Scouts, band, sports, and church. I enjoy reading, swimming, beach vacations, and hosting game nights.

My dentist of over 30 years retired and I had to find a new dentist. A friend recommended Mahan and Pete Family Dentistry, and I could not be any happier with them. I was apprehensive at first, but the staff was fantastic and very welcoming. Dr. Pete was very professional and personable. They are the most gentle dentists I have ever been to. It is a father and daughter team, creating a very family feeling atmosphere. I have seen both Dr. Pete and Dr. Mahan. When I went in, the hygienists asked me about my family and things going on in my life. She got to hear a lot about me. I have been seeing them for the past 12 years. They make great referrals when necessary. They could not be any more friendly, I would never go to another dentist.
